As humans, we tend to stare down the barrel of danger and risk more often than not. Sometimes it's due to complacency, ignorance or ego. At the end of the day, we tend to think "this can't happen to me, I'm nobody special."

We also tend to take more risk than necessary until something really bad happens.
Let's start change how we think about our personal information security practices. Do an audit of what you think is your most valuable information and where it is stored or used. Then think about what you or the institutions using your info is doing to safeguard it.
